Lounge space, laundry facilities and classrooms are all under one roof. In the heart of campus, the Residential College is across the street from the Havener Student Center and within walking distance of all laboratory and classroom buildings, the library and the Student Recreation Center. The historic downtown district and many local restaurants are a short walk away.

Groups of four students will live together in suites, with two students sharing a bedroom. Each suite contains a refrigerator and split bath; one half-bath contains a sink and shower and one half-bath contains a sink and toilet. Each bedroom is fully furnished with a bed, desk, desk chair, lamp, bookshelf, dresser and closet for each student.
The Havener Center food court will be available for three meals per weekday and a long brunch and dinner on weekends. During the summer, the food court rotates available stations to offer a variety of fare throughout the week. A made-to-order pasta and Chinese bar, burger bar, pizza, sub sandwich window, salad bar, comfort foods and al a carte fare are available daily. In addition to meal exchanges, each student will have access to a $5 per day declining balance account that works similar to a debit card. By using their student ID, everyone can use this feature to satisfy early morning coffee or afternoon snack cravings without wasting meal exchanges for small items.

Social Events
Throughout the Academy, Rolla will have many activities to offer. We'll plan to attend community events such as the 4th of July carnival and downtown music festival. Many local parks are within walking distance of campus and the Student Recreation Center is always available. At least a one afternoon will be spent floating on the Current River as part of an educational trip.
Be sure to pack a soccer ball or baseball mitt to take advantage of free afternoons. The campus's two pools will also be available during the day. The Student Union Board also plans several summer activities such as outdoor movies and everyone is more than welcome to attend.
